I connect to the internet by a wireless connection. My
ISP service person worked on all of the computers in the
office, put in a new router, and some other equipment.
After he did this, and after he worked on my computer, I
could no longer use Internet Explorer. The wireless
connection icon says the connection is "excellent", so I
think I am connecting to the equipment ok, but I get
the "unable to display page" message when I click on
Internet Explorer. If I connect by dial-up, same
computer, everything is ok, so I know it must be related
to the wireless. Help please!!!

get that so-called ISP guy to do his job. It sounds like it is certainly
the setup on your computer.
If you are using encryption, the password may be wrong or missing.
You may have encruption turned on and they are not using any.
You might have the wrong channel or ID.
You may be set for ad-hoc, when you should be running infrastructure.
You may not have the correct gateway IP address.
Lots of variables.
if the so-called ISP guy won't help, then go to a friend's computer and
run the wireless dialog box and carefully notice all the settings.
Also run winipconfig or ipconfig /all and do the same.
If all else fails, report the so-called ISP guy to his boss.
In fact, report him anyway. He's not doing his job and he sounds
incompetent, to me.
