i decided to swap my harddrives, so i copied all the files
from my old c drive to my d drive and then did a clean
install. only problem is, once i swapped the drives the
old c drive has all the old windows files which are read
only and i cant delete them to free up space. anyone know
an easy way to change the protection flags on windows
files? i tried changing them using folder options, that
didnt work.

Hi,

Open up a DOS prompt and type:
Change directory to where your windows files are (e.g.
C:\windows
Type: "attrib -R *.* /s"
