Unable to delete folders

Recently I deleted several user accounts and know login as
administrator exclusively. After I deleted the other
accounts, I've noticed it left behind a folder that was
created under one of the other users. When I try to delete
this folder while logged in as administrator, I get a
prompt that says the "folder is right protected". Can
anyone assist me in the removal of this pesky folder?
Thank you in advance :)

Not an answer to your question, but if you are using the built-in
Administrator account for daily use, DON'T! It's your ONLY way of accessing
the system in an emergency.
Create a user account for yourself with Admin rights and use that on a daily
basis.

Take Ownership of the folder.

I am using the built-in Administrator account.
Is there anything I need to do to to the "built-in"
Administrator account before I set up a new account with
administrator access?

No. When you create the new user, use the File and Settings transfer wizard
to copy all your data and settings to the new user.
