Using XP Home Edition. I had to delete Norton Systemworks.
2 small files, less than 300k refuse to go away. Denied
access to delete. I even cleared all calls in registry. I
don't know what the attributes are on the files (1 is a
dll). I can't even move the files to another drive, it
only copies them and still refuses to delete them in the
original location.
I need to re-install NSW. What happens if I just install
over these 2 files.

One way that I've found that works with undeletable files (and I'd really
like to know how they acquire that attribute) is to create a new folder,
drag the file(s) into it, then delete the folder.

The two files I had the 'undeletable' experience with were both D/L'd via
Kazaa,
into the normal shared folder, so I'm unsure that you're folder access
explanation is correct.
But thanks for the input :)
