I have been trying all day to delte a file from my Win2K
Server. The file name is incredibly long.
Tried deleting through standard GUI interface but it will
not delete (received error: The filename, directory name,
or volume label syntax is incorrect).
Navigated through ms dos command prompt and tried to
delete, received error: cannot find file.
I tried taking ownership of parent folders and then
deleting the folder, including contents, but received the
same errors. I've also tried various command line entries
(del, ren, rmdir) and associated switches, but am still
having no luck.
Can anyone help with this problem?
Thanks,
Leroy
