Unable to create movie on DVD

Even if you click publish movie in DVD or CD, the software always takes it as
if you have selected to publish or save it in the hard drive.

Does anyone knows why this occurs and how to save the movie in a DVD?

MM in XP does not have a save to dvd function, it needs you to save the
file as a wmv or dv.avi and then to import this into your favoured authoring
app.
