unable to create clips

Hi fellow MM2 user
When I import a file into collections, it does not create clips. The file was captured on my ATI player. The "create clips" box is checked - yet it does not create clips. If it does not create clips, I cannot edit in MM2
Can someone please come up with a solution/ideas/suggestions/comments. Please!!! Much obliged

Hi Ferdie,

If it doesn't create clips, you can do it manually by splitting the clip in
the collection or on the timeline.

See the Importing Source Files > Video > Intro page of my site for some info
about MM2's Auto Clip Detection feature... it won't generate clips if you
capture from a digital source without timecode data, such as my Hi8 tapes
being captured by playback in a digital 8 camcorder.
