unable to convert dvd (VOB) and vcd (DAT) files to MP4

Hi,
I have XP Home Edit. with sp2. I was trying to convert the decrypted dvd
files (VOB) to mp4 using Blaze Videomagic software.About 18-20% gets
converted and there is a message"encoder.exe has encountered a problemand
needs to close" and then it sends an error report to Microsoft.
Can any body help?

Hi,

It's unlikely to be a Windows problem, it's more likely to be a problem
specific to the software you are using. Support for that program is your
best chance of finding an answer. While there is a wide span of general
knowledge here, this group is designed primarily for problems with Windows
itself.

Suggest you go to your local police department and ask them. They are
