Hello to all,

I have just finished creating an W2K VPN server that is dedicated strictly
for VPN use. It is on the internal network and behind a firewall. All PPTP
ports are open so connectivity to the VPN server is not an issue. Now I
have an issue. I need to have access to internal network servers via
Terminal Services (RDP) for remote administration after hours. As it
currently stands, I cannot gain access using RDP and not sure where to start
looking. Firewall? Server?

Hi Robert,

Once you are connected to your VPN, can you ping the servers you are trying
to RDP to? Can you telnet to port 3389 on them? Can you access files shares
on them? Are there any routers or firewalls between the VPN server and the
servers you are trying to reach?

Thanks,
Marc Reynolds
