I'm having more and more users tell me that they keep getting disconnected from the PDC. I have seen it myself you cannot traverse network neighborhood, I can search with the IP address but if I double click on one of the other domains nothing. I really would appreciate the help if someone has an answer. Thank you

Could be a dns or connectivity problem. In a W2K AD domain you want the domain
controller to point to itself as it's preferred dns server in tcp/ip properties and
all W2K/Xp Pro/W2003 domain members point ONLY to AD domain controllers either via
static assignment or through dhcp scope. You can use the support tools netdiag and
dcdiag to check the configuration of your domain controller and netdiag for domain
members. I suggest running netdiag first and then dcdiag on the domain controller
looking for failed tests/errors/fatal warnings. Pinging by IP address and then fully
qualified domain name for the domain controller can help establish basic
connectivity. If you enabled an ipsec policy and did not exempt the domain controller
from the policy, you can experience connectivity problems and logon failures. ---
