We want to deploy new Send/Receive settings to our existing Outlook 2003 SP2 installations.
I have been able to create a CMW file in which i specified a few settings to be changed. One of the settings is for example to enable “Perform and automatic send/receive when exiting.”
I have run the cmw on the Outlook 2003 clients whith the following command:
\\servername\share\CMW\MAINTWIZ.EXE /c \\servername\share\CMW\Send-Receive-Settings.CMW /qb-
When I look in the registry I can find that the changes for Send/Receive are written to the
registry (srsimport), but even after restarting Outlook on the client, no changes seem to have been made to the Send/Receive groups settings itself.
I noticed that someone has reported a similar problem in the past:
https://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-1849328.php
In this post a hotfix is mentioned that could fix this problem, does anyone know what KB number this hotfix has?
Any other suggestions are also welcome.
