Unable to Close IE (Ver6Sp1)

I'm unable to close internet explorer window through close
button or AltF4. Every time i've to go to "End Task".
Using Windows xp. plz help. thanks

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
