Unable To Change Start-Up Page In IE Explorer 6

I've tried clear settings and resetting page in IE
explorer, running IE purge and spybot.

Same page keeps returning--drusearch.com/user6/

Help. Pls. Much thx.

sounds like spyware/adware to me.
to start with i'd download and run these be sure to update them

Thank you very much for your reply. I did the follow-up on the items you suggested, with the exception of one or two that I couldn't get to work.

The page (drusearch) no longer loads. However, it continues to force its way onto the visited URL list in Explorer, despite IE purge, spybot and all the other converntional approaches. Nasty bugger. Any ideas on how I can eliminate it there as well?
