unable to burn CD, window media player close the disc

I have sony vaio with docking station
I started burning CD from a downloaded music on the
internet to my hard drive. then I started burning the CD
but the problem it says converting all the songs and this
is good so far then it start saying copying the first two
or three songs then it says closing disc
I tried to slow the recording to X1 with no response
Any sugestion?

WMP is problematic when it comes to burning. You could use Sonic Stage that
came with the laptop, or better yet, invest in Nero 6. http://www.nero.com/

Sorry to not have the answer to your problem but I'd like
to add that Windows Media Player messed me up too by
letting me burn two cds and then displaying an error
message for every subsequent attempt to burn CDs.
Thoughts?
