Dear All,

I am unable to browse the internet with WinXP SP2 (embedded). The proxy
settings are all fine. I can ping the gateway and the proxy server. The other
clients with Win2000 Prof. can easily access the internet. The WinXP personal
Firewall is also STOPPED. But if i keep refreshing the browser for a long
time, then once it displays and again if i click a link it shows the "Can't
display page" error.

Please look into the matter.

Hi,

To restate your problem:

--
When you first open a page in Internet Explorer, your page times
out. However, once you refresh the page, you are able to view it.

Opening a new link causes the same symptoms - the pages initially
times out, but refreshing allows you to view it normally.
--

Try the following:

Click |Start| > |Run|
In the Run dialog box, type:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

Click on OK.

If trying the above does not resolve your problem, follow the
exact proceedure, but substitute each of the following command
lines in turn:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 scrrun.dll
regsvr32 msxml.dll
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll

Reboot the computer.
-----

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to
ask,

Best regards,

Altrus
