Hello,

If I go to 'My Network Places' and click 'Entire Network', I get the
following error:

Unable to browse the network.
The network is not present or not started.

I am also not able to access any shares, same error. I am able to use the
internet and ping any (local) machine. I've looked around for this error but
haven't been able to find a solution for my situation. Somehow this problem
got introduced into my system, don't know how or when. Any advice?

"net view" output looks alright, it gives me a list of all available
computers.

Output of "browstat status":

They are, that is not the problem. It used to work before.

Thanks for the suggestion. No events are logged at or around the time of the
error though...

Problem fixed by uninstalling 'Client for Microsoft Networks', rebooting,
reinstalling 'Client for Microsoft Networks'. Weird....
