I need to be able to use my notebook both at office and
home. Its win2000 Pro, part of a Domain. I bring this pc
home, and the other win2000 Pro machine can see the
notebook shares, but the notebook cannot browse the other
machine, which is part of a Workgroup called Domain.

I can ping both machines, on 192.168.0.3 and 4.
Net View shows all machines on the Workgroup machine, but
shows nothing on the Notebook which is part of Domain.

None of the Net commands work on the notebook.

Help!

When you use the Net commands what errors do you get? Since you can ping,
physical networking is ok, and if you are just browsing then you might have
an issue with a segment master browser taking over the role or something
like that.

when you do a net view \\systemname from each system against each other what
do you see?
