Recently, sometime, after installing MS AntiSpyware I am
not able to boot inti 'SafeMode'.

Also,IN
Startup Programs
Registry currant User Run
(A Typo in the INFO when you click
on 'Heading file name')

[Is should be It I believe.]

Not being able to boot into safe mode is not something I've seen here
before.

What happens when you try?

Not so unusual, When I face the problem, I add a second startup (copy the
first one) in order to allow a pause. I think some computers give not
enought time to hit F8.

This workaround can also be used.

- Start-Run write "msconfig" without quotes

- Go to Tab "Boot.ini"

- Check /SAFEBOOT

- Restart

- Within Safe mode, uncheck /SAFEBOOT

- Restart

I also think it is possible to change timeout value within
this tab to
increase time for F8, haven´t tested it.

That's what I'd use, I think. I've seen one machine which is very hard to
catch in time for safe mode. My impression is that starting with the CTRL
key held down is supposed to be effective in that situation.

The way the post was phrased made me feel that timing wasn't the issue.
