Unable to Boot From Bytecc ME-350U2 Enclosed WD 20GB

My system is an Asus P4S533 with a generic USB2 board installed. I have no
problem booting to DOS on a flashdrive but I can't get it to boot to the WD
drive in the Bytecc. My OS is winxp pro on the system and win 98 classic on
the Bytecc.

The Bytecc works fine for storage, however.

Any idea how I can boot the Bytecc?

Probably not.
Apparently you need a specific type of driver to run an OS
from a storage device. The USB driver isn't part of that.
