Unable to add to Favorites

Lately when I attempt to add a site to Favorites does not work.
This happens both when I try to add to an existing favorites or a new
favorite.
I am using Internet Explorer Version 7.0.5730.13
Any ideas how to correct this issue?

What exactly happens when you try to add a site to Favorites? If
there's an error message, what does it say?

No error message - The site I wish to add just does not populate in the
list of favorites.
