unable to add printer

I am setting up a new IBM ThinkCentre and it is running XP
Pro. I cannot add any printers. When i hit add printers
it says "This operation could not be completed" I have
also tried to use jet admin since they are all HP printers,
but it does not even open. I am doing this under
administrator. Any Ideas?

Try running "sfc /scannow" from the command line.
