Unable to achieve TV out from laptop.

I have a HiGrade M6600 laptop with s video out. I am using
windows xp pro. I have an NVIDIA GeForce4 440 Go 64M video
card. My refresh rate is 60Hz,800*600 res, 16 bit color.I
use a s video to rca plug from my laptop to my tv. I can
see my computer display during POST.After windows has
loaded andI push the Function -F5 key sequence I
momentarily see my computer display on the TV.

How can I get it to stay?

Do you have an NVidia icon in your system tray? There may
be a specific setting required to output the video. On
most laptops, the function key shift works, but sometimes
requires multiple pops due to video resolution probs.
