Tried to send a powerpoint presentation to word using the Send To function in the File pulldown. Slides containing a title and text are supposed to transfer to Word. This works for slides that are initially created in one of the ppt "insert slide" formats. Slides improrted into the presentation from other .ppt do not transfer. The title may appear in Word but the text won't. Test from titles may not transfer either. Does anyone have a good ways to fix this/another MicroSoft problem

How can I get the text content of each .ppt slide copied into Word
Sure would appreciate your advice

Thanks, Bil

If you're sending to Word as an outline, this is by design. Only text in
title or text "placeholders" transfers.

If you choose to send one of the options which also includes "slides,"
you'll get a thumbnail of the slide itself, and all elements should be
retained.

You might try Shyam's Handout Wizard, though. I don't know if it sends all
text or not, but it's worth a look. http://www.mvps.org/skp
