I hope this is where I can get some help on a couple of issues. When I try
to access the Windows Update page from the TOOLS selection in IE6, the page
looks as if its trying to load but all that ever is displayed is a white
backround. On the bottom bar at left is "Done - but with errors on page."
When I open the error window the following is displayed:
Line: 115
Char: 3
Error: The specified module could not be found
Code: 0
URL: http://www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Also, when I go to the Office Update page and click on Check for Updates,
the progress bar stops at 40%.
On yet another page when I try to download an update to IE6, I get the
message "your security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded.
I can't help but wonder if all of this is related. I've played with the
Security, Privacy and Advanced tabs in the Internet Options area...even set
them to match my desktop that works perfectly...but I get the same results.
Any help would be appreciated!
