Some suggestions/things to consider:
In Internet Explorer -
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
2. Scroll down to the Security Settings.
3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say
"Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
Try your secure sites.

"The Page Cannot Be Displayed" Error Message When You Try to View Web Page on a
Secure Web Site

I have windows xp and can access the internet but when I try to go into some
sites I get the message 'You are about to enter a secure site' when I click 'ok'
I then get the message 'The page cannot be displayed'. I am also unable to get
into my msn hotmail account from my home pc although I can access it elsewhere.
This seems to have happened overnight. I have had my computer checked by a
technician and was told there is nothing wrong with it. I have also had my
internet connection checked which is also ok. I am at my wit's end and don't
know what to try next. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
