Unable to access mail folder

I'm running Outlook 2002 on a Windows 7 system. It had been working fine,
but now when I try to delete an e-mail from my inbox or out box it reports
"messenging interface reported an unknown error". Also I can't get e-mail
because of an "unknown error". Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.

Outlook 2002 is not supported on Windows 7. Did you try Detect and Repair?
