Unable to access known www addresses through Google (OE6)

Recently i had my hard drive reformatted & since then I cannot access certain
www addresses which I know are valid.

I operate XP + Norton.

My XP firewall is switched off in preference to Norton.

I thought it could be a firewall issue & therefore disabled the firewall -
no luck.

Can anybody help me please?

Interestingly, I sent the www address to my Dad to see if he can access - a
hyperlink appeared on the sent message & I can then actually access the www
address!

I am confused!! Please help.

Uninstall Norton and turn on the WinXP firewall and then try.
What is the message when you can't get to the site?
 
I cant access the site - all i get is "your search www.xxxx did not get any
documents". do i realy need to uninstall Norton? How do I turn on XP ?
