Hi all...
I'm unable to access https sites all of a sudden & that means i'm crippled
from checking my hotmail, internet banking & Messenger is apparently down as
well. I've tried to set Internet options; Security Tab:Internet, Local
Intranet, Trusted sites, Restricted sites to default, Cleared SSL Certs from
Content Tab, Advanced Tab:Checked SSL2.0, SSL3.0, HTTP1.1, HTTP1.1 through
proxy connections as well. But nothing seems to work.
I've not downloaded any new software prior to that, so i guess it shouldn't
be any new software issues. I've uninstalled my McAfee files except for 1
folder which can't be deleted with the message saying it is either in use or
access denied?
I realised through my network connections that besides my Local Area
Connection. There seems to be another 1394 Connection & a Bridge Network;
which i don't recall activating previously. I thought the 1394 Connection &
Bridge network could be the culprits, thus i removed Local Area Connection
from the bridge & disable 1394 Connection & Bridge but after doing so, I get
disconnected from Internet.
Is it possible that the McAfee folder is causing all the https problems or
could it be the 1394 Connection & Bridge Network?
It would be GREAT if someone could advise me on this....Many thanks in
advance!
