Unable to Access HD

I have to 2 PC both with xp,also 2 HD in trays so I can swap them.
1 HD will work in both PC but the other one will only work in the one PC.
I keep getting access denied. I've checked disk prop all seem ok
used disk Mgm. all are healthy and active,I sure it's a security thing but
dodn't know were to start.

Put the "dysfunctional" HD in the PC that can access it.
Right-click on the drive (or partitions) and go to properties.
Click on the Security tab and make sure it's got the same settings as
the other HD does.

I have no Security tab on that Drive

Are you using Windows XP Home?
If so, I forget how you make the Security tab appear. (Or do you have it
on other drives, just not that one?)
