Unable to access FLOPPY Drive

Hi everyone,

I just bought a new computer. Installed WinXP Pro on it
using bootable CD-ROM. Everything works fine except for
the floppy drive.

Everytime I access the floppy, I get an error. I have
tried different types/manufacturers of floppy disks but
got the same result. The floppy drive works fine on a
different machine with Win98SE installed. WinXP device
manager says floppy is ok.

Can anyone help me? Is this a floppy drive/diskette or a
WinXP issue?
