This is the first time I have ever encountered a serious
problem with Outlook. Out of nowhere, my Outlook is
unable to pick up email and is running extremely slowly,
efectively unusable, and periodically is saying the
following in a pop up box: Outlook cannot correctly save
the view. Nay changes you made to the view may be lost.
The file C:\documents and settings\owner\local
settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst
could not be accessed.

I have just done a system restore to a previous time 2
days ago when everything worked as normal but no luck.

Any thoughts wld be really appreciated ( I run my
business on this programme which is probably a mistake)

Thank you

How big is your pst-file?

You've probably already done it but if not, you should run detect and repair
on your pst. Also, if possible, compress your pst. If it is very large the
compression process will take a long time. Good luck.

Detect and Repair isn't for your pst-file but for Office. To scan your
pst-file for errors you should use scanpst.exe
