un-installing

how do i un-install movie maker? I cant find it in add or remove programs.
thot i would try all over again to get it to work.
I downloaded it and I recieve an error message when opening it, reguarding
the condition of wmm? It opens but the error message pops up. have sent
report eror message and hit debug, nothing works. also downloaded all updates?
please help.

You fail to mention your OS...if you are
running Vista...disregard the following.

What is the exact error message?

Some users have reported problems
after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.

John, os is windows xp 2nd edition. I un-installed Exployer 7, now have IE-6.
wmmaker still does not work!! I give up and I want to un-install it, can you
tell me how ? I cant find it in add/remove and under acc. it says icon only
will be removed.

Oh well it was worth a try, I think I would wait
until the Movie Maker issue was sorted out
before I reinstalled IE7.

Movie Maker 2.1 is installed as a component
of Windows XP SP2 and cannot be uninstalled.
If you wish to reinstall it...you'll have to reinstall
WinXP SP2.

Download Windows XP SP2

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.

It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.

And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.
