UN-DELETE??

Have a case where I deleted 2 files (one was > 400K and one 4GB) , moved
disk to another computer system expecting to see the two files to show up in
recycle bin.

That was not the case.

How can I bring back - restore thes two files. I have not used disk drive
after deletion of two files -- assuming files should be intact!!

1) windows xp
2) 160GB drive using USB2 connection


Please advise...
 
I'm presuming you didn't move the disk & boot from it on the new PC, no? If
not, that explains this. Can you put the disk back in the other computer and
work from there? Might want to see www.undelete.com if this isn't possible.
 
Yes, I did move it to another PC!! The PC it ws deleted on is not availale
anymore.

I tried undelete and file resque, and both show no available "deleted" files
on the drive.

Anyway I can re-cover the two files??????????

Might need a data recovery service at this point....sorry!
