Hello!

I'm here to ask you if it is possible to instal windows XP Pro ONLY with the
"base" system to boot the computer and directX?

I need the full power of the cpu and probably directx 'cause i need to use
some audio software. my sound card is a MOTU896 firewire ande use ASIO
drivers.

so, the computer only needs one base to run MAX/MSP and the audio card.

i don't need network suport, games, security software, internet, and the
other things BUT AUDIO!

hope you can help me!

tnkx

No. The conventional installation of Windows XP is
the "base" system.
