The answer is absolutely NO. I looked at the site and indeed it looks
tempting. But the site omits to tell you the equipment you need. It makes it
"look" like you will copy to a DVD. Impossible. It will copy some video, in
a limited fashion, to a CD but the idea that you will have DVD copying
capabilities on a CD drive is impossible. If you do not have a DVD burner,
don't expect this software to make DVDs.
Transferring and editing video is very time consuming. If you really want to
get the quality from your mini digital video tapes you will need a DVD
burner. They are still expensive (around $350.00) but wait a little. Prices
will continue to fall and then do it right.

Is anyone familar with Ulead's Disc Creator, a $99.00 Windows program that
combines their DVD Movie Factory with CD and DVD-burning software? Sounds
as though you just burn a videotape directly to DVD without a DVD burner for
hundreds of $$. Any movie on TV or videotape can be burned directly to DVD.
I'm looking for someway to get all my new mini digital video cassettes onto
DVD. Was going to purchase a burner until I saw this article in a paper.
$99.00 isn't a bad price to pay if this is all it takes. Any have any info.
I would sure appreciate it. Info. on
