Anyone out there using this product? I've tried the trial version and it
seemed to be very good (simple to use with good features), but I didn't have
access to some of the features and it only let me burn one VCD. Now I don't
know if that's just how the trial software behaves or if Ulead's software is
buggy. I sent them an email, but haven't heard back.

I use MF3 regularly here for all but the most complex of DVD burns, and it
runs without issue on my video workstation... freshly installed WinXP Pro
SP2, AMD/ VIA motherboard supporting Raid 0.

Ulead is notoriously slow with patches and updates, but MF3 was recently
updated again with fixes for AC3 issues and now, inherently, supports dual
layer (8.5GB) DVD burning. If you go this route, make sure you check for
updates.

For DVDs that require more complex menus and features, you might consider
moving up another level to something like DVD Workshop... albeit more
expensive.

With respect to high quality Video CDs, I would recommend "TmpGenc" for
encoding...does a superior job. You can subsequently import the completed
mpeg into MF3 for final output to a properly formatted VCD.
