Living in the netherlands I wanna buy the VB.NET standard. Now I saw that
there is a UK version. Is this different as the on in the status?

What do you mean by "status"? The "united states"?

I think that the major thing is that you get an English language version.
I think it does not matter if it is from the US or from the UK.
Although cockney is the second language in this newsgroup it seems
sometimes. :-)))).

From the most active people in this newsgroup, there are a lot from the UK.

I have seen in this newsgroup, that it seems that for citizens from the US
and Canada there are better conditions with the standard version than for
the rest of the world.

When you want to read something about that, search this newsgroup on
articles from NAK.
I thouhgt that he is longtime been busy to get information how to update the
standard 2002 version to 2003.
