UK English?

Is there a way to make Windows Mail use UK English? I've checked the
Regional Setting in Control Panel, but the spell checker still keeps
prompting me to change my text to Merkin.
 
Hi, When I send mail, the spell checker is US english, and not UK. When I go
to change it in Mail, the only English option is English - not UK or US.
Control panel, Word set to UK. What's Murkin?
