I restarted my computer today and openend internet
explorer. Immediately 67 instances of the program opened
on my machine. I closed the group, and 66 more instances
opened up. I tried to close them one at a time, and every
time I closed one another opened up. I restarted my
machine and the end program window opened saying this
program is not responding (Uipopuphidden). I chose "end
now" and restarted my machine. The problem did not occur
again. I had just seen the same problem happen 2 hours
earlier, on a different computer at my work. I did a
search for information, but couldn't find anything. Can
you assist?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.
