uh oh- need to reinstall word 2000

All my documents are there, however I lost the application!
I managed to open my emails using a viewer.

If I reinstall...do I lose all the 1000's of documents...

Gonna jump and take the cd with me,

No - but anyone in this day and age who doesn't have a backup is going to
regret it sooner or later.

You should also check whether or not the application is really missing, or
you've simply misplaced the shortcut icon. Check Control Panel > Add/Remove
Programs to see if there is an entry for Word 2000 (or Office 2000 or Works
Suite 2000 or however you got Word). Run it in repair/maintenance mode.
