Uh oh. How'd that happen.

Here's the situation. Windows 2000 box with two fiber
connections. One to a Xiotech 600gb partition and the
other two EMC symetrix disk for another 300gb.

Somehow I have an extra partition noted as removable
storage that's almost the same as the Xiotech with 600GB.
What, in the name of heaven, is going on.

I've double checked the zoning and it's correct.
 
I figured it out. Our backup software, Veritas Netbackup
creates a virtual disk that it "remembers" and backs up.
Once the backup is done, it drops the drive. Weird.
