can anyone tell me what ughfpoep represents. I see it in a few files, as
in system32\ughfpoep.(In the registry) TIA

If you're having no problems with your machine I wouldn't worry about it...but if curiosity is getting to you, go to google type it in and see what you find

Not bad advice, even though nothing turned up. My curiosity is out of a
fear that ughfpoep is some kind of worm, virus, etc.

Could also be spyware. I recently put Ad-Aware on my computer (which is free) and found over a dozen hidden files and programs. Kinda scary to think someone can monitor your activities without you even knowing it. Anyways, if you want to pursue it you may want to try Ad-aware or something similar.

Hi Lawrence,

Update your antivirus software, run a scan on it - what does that tell you?
What file extension does it have? Nearly all AV vendors accept questionable
files for review, try sending it to one of them for analysis.
