Winsock Initialized
Opening IP socket: 70.222.127.424:27960
WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: bind: WSAEADDRNOTAVAIL

I'm not on a router and I have windows firewall turned off. Google search
shows that when it happens it always happens because of router/firewall, so
I'm posting here just in case someone has had the problem and fixed it. I
keep getting the above warning when I try to run my game. When I try to run
the game I get the same message for every game port all the way up to 27969.
I restarted comp and modem server times. I uninstalled the game and
reinstalled it.

Any thoughts?

Hi HotJuly,

Sounds like there's a firewall in your Broadband Modem:

Call the tech support for that unit, and ask them to either setup a "DMZ"
(De-Militarized Zone which means the firewall is disabled) to bypass the
built-in firewall, or open the necessary ports in the equipment with you.

Here's the List of all Ports used by Zone
and DX Games: http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/PortRoute.html#ports

To setup your router yourself visit: www.portforward.com/routers.htm
