UDF file on CD won't open in XP Pro

I backed up my entire hard drive using Nero and a CD-RW
disk. I now have a new hard drive with XP Pro and I can't
get it to read it. It opens up and is blank. Hitting
properties shows that there is data on the disk. I know
XP is limited in reading the UDF files (from my
research) but there must be a way of retreiving this
data. Is there something that can be done? My entire
business is backed up on this disk.

Do you have the same version of nero loaded on the new hard drive, same cd burner? If you did not "close" a cd-rw, (meaning you can no longer write to it) another cd burner may not be able to read it. I have seen this happen many times.
 
Thank you for your response. I am using the same version
of Nero 5.5.8. with the same CD RW drive. I was not aware
of closing the cd. I'm not sure how to do this but I will
give it a go. I will go to Nero web site to find out
unless you can recommend how to do this if it is possible
at this late state.

Yes. Same version, same hard drive and cd burner. I will
check on how to close the cd, if it is possible. Thanks
