Over the last couple days I have received a message from
(e-mail address removed) and before I can get to it Norton
tells me it is infected. I have received it at least 10
times in last two days. I now have it on blocked list and
then delete as soon as I am aware of it but I don't
understand how microsoft can be sending me a virus. Can
anyone explain?????

Microsoft is not sending you viruses (in fact, Microsoft NEVER sends
patches, updates or hotfixes as attachments to emails). It is relatively
easy to "spoof" or use someone else's domain in emails; the ones you are
seeing are the product of other computers having been infected with an email
virus which gains control of email address books and then sends emails with
infected attachments.

Good for you for keeping your Norton Anti-Virus software updated; it's doing
its job!
