I am using Outllok 2002 client for my email. I use an
external POP3 mail server (hosted by an ISP) and do not
have any other mail server internally.
However, for the last 2 months, I have been experiencing
problesm with incoming emails - I do not receive all
emails from the senders. I do not have any rules in my
Outlook 2002 and have not limited the size of the email
received (no truncating - I've configured Outlook to
receive full messages).
When I contact the sender to resend the message, the
message comes-in fine!! FYI - this problem is irregular
ie. it does not happen all the times. I have contacted my
ISP and they have confirmed that all my configuration is
fine!! Other users who use the same provider and have a
different mail client (ie. Outlook 2000) do not have a
similar problem. Could this be a problem with my Outlook
2002 client software? Does anybody have similar problems?
I need help because I've been loosing business
unknowingly. Thanks!!!

I have had a similar problem- and also cannot recieve any
mail to my outlook -( it is a pop3 account) keeps giving
me an error message " cannot log in to incoming ..." I
am really frustrated- compuserve said that it is an
outlook problem- and when I contact Microsoft- as this
came with a support service for new computer- I am told
that it isnt covered!
