uac on or off problems

As of last week I decided to turn off the UAC...and after a reboot I was
happy to see that I didn't need it anymore.
But.....switching on UAC again makes it impossible for me to start up
normally. After booting he starts up and after a few seconds he starts to
shutdown again.
No what so ever possibility to change anything...than to go in secure mode
and switch off UAC again.

I cannot find on the web and on forums any logical reason for
this....why...he boots up and shutdown on and on.

So I have to stay working with UAC switched off...not so big problem...but
switching on again is impossible.

Who knows any answers, tips etc.

Depending on your version of Vista, you may be able to edit one setting only
in Group Policy and stop the nag screen. Run gpedit.msc and see if you have
group policies installed. If you do, go to Comp. Config-- Windows
Settings--Security Settings--Local Policies--Security Options. Scroll to the
bottom of the list and you'll see all the UCA options. Find User Account
Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin
Approval Mode. Set it to Elevate without prompting. I assume your user
account is with admin. rights. Check the other settings to see if one may be
causing your problem.
 
Sorry but my version is home premium...so no possibility to change by
gpedit.msc...and then still is there....... the swtiching oo UAC leads to
faster starts...now putting back UAC on gives no UAC on anymore only after
booting directly pc shut down and this keeps going off till in safemode you
turn UAC off.
e can start....why uac cannot be switched on again.
