U3 USB Stick not working

The USB - U3 Stick from Verbatim is not recognise by
Vista Build 5384.
Any idea if this issue will be repaired in the future.

I have one of these drives but haven't even installed it with XP due to the
USB drive letters I know this takes one permanently. I think it will be U3
who have to update the way the launchpad works although they don't even
update their forum.
A lot of XP users have problems with drive letter assignment 'guessing' this
is why it will not work with Vista - it's the actual software in the drive.
Launchpad may need updated to cope.
