u.s. cd playing in europe

Hi i am planning trip to europe next month can my U.S.
cd,s play o.k. in europe someone said no because of a
country code ?
any help will be appreciated

CDs do not have country codes like DVDs do, so yes, they will play just fine.
 
If you are taking a portable device with you, they will play fine
If you need AC (plug into wall) you'll have a problem for thei
electric current has a different cycle. You can buy adapter
at Circuit City and Radio Shack. Especially if you are taking
battery charger with you.
