typing tutor/trainer program?

Can anyone suggest a typing trainer program? I check pricelessware
and didn't see anything there.

Susan: I have KP Typing which is on this list. A nice program but it seems
to have gone $$$ware.

Thanks for the heads-up Frank. If anyone has info about a last freeware
version and/or a download page for a freeware version please advise.

The version I have is 5.1 -- zipfile (kptype32.zip) is about 1.5MB. It
appears to be available at the Simtel mirror at
http://www.zcu.cz/ftp/pub/win/simtelnet/win95/edumisc (warning: there are
lots more files on this page which look tempting!!!)

Thank you Frank. I did some looking too - wasn't going to but couldn't
resist the lure of the chase. :)

I believe your file has an exe dated 2003-05-29 (1,531,321 bytes) - That
seems to be widely available - the size of the zip file varies but I
only found two different EXE files. . .

FWIW - the version I have is also called v 5.1 but the exe is *newer*
than yours. The help file says: "KP Typing Tutor is free for personal
and academic uses" - I'm not allowed to distribute it. :(

The zip file is: kptype32.zip (1,661,164 bytes) - exe 2003-11-04
(1,699,789 bytes)

I haven't been able to locate that one. I haven't looked for kpsetup.exe
- it may be available under that file name. (I believe all the
kptyping.zip files are v 6 => shareware.)

I appreciate the help, will show your v 5.1 as the LFW version.
